Surprisingly very effective at removing grout
Easy way to remove grout, can use both hands with tool

This worked better than grout saw from QEP, was easy to handle with 3 different width tips on tool (depending on width of grout) and I could use both hands to prevent overuse of one hand. I removed layer of grout down to clean, hard grout to prep for regrouting. Took several hardworking hours, but went well with little chipping/scraping of tile. Did tub to ceiling shower stall grout removal in a few hours.

I purchased this tool to skim the top of grout…

I purchased this tool to skim the top of grout because I have colored my grout, but my wife did not like the color. This tool permit me to skim the top of the grout right up against tile. The only issue was in the corners and against the walls because of the screw head on the tool prevented me from getting into certain spots.
